About me:

My name is Donna Lopez and I started my fitness journey in 2009 when I was at my heaviest weight of 200lbs. My aha moment was when I put on a necklace and it was a choker. I knew then I needed to do something, my job was very sedentary and I snacked all day long.  Bad eating habits, lack of movement and stress of the job  was doing a job to my body. So I joined a local gym with my sister and some cousins and friends and kept each other accountable every day.

About 11 months in I had lost 48lbs but didn't reach my goal weight, I hit a plateau I was approached by my trainer at the gym and current coach to drink Shakeology, do Insanity and also pay it forward by becoming a Team Beachbody coach.  It was the best decision I could have made with my fitness and financial freedom ladder.  It was one day when a woman I met in Kentucky over the internet and I helped her make better eating decisions and motivated her to start walking etc, she sent me a text saying " thank you for helping me live" she too was a grandmother of 5. That was my aha moment of my purpose of coaching.  I needed to help others feel the way I felt, the way this woman felt and help others really begin to live.

I was able to leave my employment in the Insurance industry in 15 months of joining to pursue this new career. I never feel like I am working because I love what I do and they say " love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. I spend time with my grandchildren, I set my own hours, I have a team of amazing leaders with some of them being my family members. To see others getting healthy and working on their goals and financial freedom is truly priceless. Everyone matters, everyone deserves a great quality of life.

MY WHY

I have 5 grandchildren  and I want to continue making memories with them and not just become a memory to them.   I lost both my parents before I turned 45 I didn't want to do that to my children. I want to enjoy them and watch them grow up and start their own families.  I don't want to miss school functions because I am working on someone else's future.
